Well I am here...

My orientation group aka "my family" and "Mom"

Well I made it awhile ago. Orientation week was awesome. We had lots of fun learning the island and doing touristy things. We went on an island tour, ziplineing, a catamaran trip and much more.

School is going well! Its a great campus, but sorry no pictures, its a rule here. I can show your my dorm room though!

I live in a double so share a bathroom, and kitchen with my roomie.

So far I love it here minus missing Andrew and all my animals, especially Noah. Noah and Nala are doing well and in fabulous care. The kitties and Andrew and doing great too.

O almost forgot to include a picture of my car! I talked to its old owner and its name was "The Shaggin Wagon" aka Shaggy, so I decided to keep its name.

To sum up my feelings; Ahh, so 2nd to last night in the USA...haha crazy to say that. Full of mixed emotions! Excited, but at the same time thinking about leaving makes me nauseous. So ready to be there in one way, but in another I don't want to leave at all!!

Well I think I pretty much have everything packed. I am gonna run and grab a few last minutes things then its time to pack the last bit of clothes in my carryon and zip up my bags.

Well, time to try and get some sleep. I may blog tomorrow, but probably my next one will be from St. Kitts! :)

40 days till I leave...

Ahh! I board that plane so soon! I have all my shots and medical stuff taken care of! I have to go to the doctors to get the copies of my blood tests then off to NJ does all my stuff go!

Only 13 more days left working at the barn! YAY! Noah is headed to GA on the 30th. Nala will be heading to CO to live. I am not sure when, but beginning of August.

Now, Andrew and I just gotta move into out new apartment then I have to start packing for the BIG move to St. Kitts.

Have my appointment to get started on my vaccinations for the island...should be fun...not!

Hopefully, I won't have any side effects!

Getting ready to move to St. Kitts

Wow I guess I am actually doing this, moving to St. Kitts for vet school. The reality of leaving my loved ones behind it starting to set in. I know it will be hard, but it will all be worth it in the end.

Last week, I got an e-mail from Ross about housing etc. I am thrilled that they set us up with a facebook group to get to know our classmates starting in September.

Just booked my flight down there! This is real! It will be here before I know it!
